I will always be able to look back upon the incredible rivalry between Carmel and Mahopac as one of the best competitive experiences of my life. There aren't many better rivalries around! My memory of our game was the tale of a big time underdog knocking off the big dog. In the bigger scope I can recall the incredible support from the surrounding community. Parents and alumni brought so much to that program. It is nice to see a program with such history has gotten even better over the years. This is a credit to the coaching staff and endless support that comes with Carmel football. Congratulations on building such a solid program! Thanks to Stu Pratt for providing all of the history photos for alumni to look back on. (That's the kind of support I am talking about!) - Mike Rescigno

"First Round of the Section 1 playoffs against top seeded Roosevelt of Yonkers. Back in the day they used to predict scores and they had us losing 42-0. We were not intimidated we went in with a chip on our shoulder and tried to prove otherwise. It was a great battle of defenses and our juggernaut offense unleashed about 500 yards in offense. Eventhough we had that many yards we were shut out 7-0. On that team were the likes of James Kennedy nose guard for the St. Louis Rams and James Atkins linebacker for the Titans. We played our butts off and I am proud to say that was the greatest game I ever played in. Due to the fact that we were a bunch of suburban kids who played down in Yonkers the first time and were not scared, we played well and hard. Thanks to the Rams of 95 for all the great memories." - Patrick Feliciotto
